Bain-marie cooking allows food to be cooked more slowly and indirectly, with greater control over temperature and cooking time. It is very useful for melting chocolate and for delicate foods.
This electric bain-marie is made of finely satin-finished stainless steel. Heating is provided by stainless steel electric immersion heaters with temperature regulated by a thermostat ranging from 30 to 90°C. It is also equipped with an illuminated switch, pilot lamp and adjustable feet.
The price does not include the GN 1/6 stainless steel gastronorm pan, which can be purchased separately.
