Constructed in aluminium alloy to keep weight as low as possible, this material increases the uniformity of the surfaces and resistance to corrosion.
To facilitate the sliding of the pizza on the wide head, special attention has been paid to the milling in the blade for inserting the dough and the surface of the head is microporous to reduce friction.
To withstand the weight of such an important pizza, Lilly has reinforced the joint between the head and the handle by making the latter end at the middle of the flat and adding three points of reinforcement. The ribs near the handle have also been accentuated to prevent breakage.
The wooden endpiece, in keeping with Lilly tradition, has the dual function of a comfortable shovel hanger and solid handle.
